Patricia Kühfuss works with photography to explore the bigger picture of health, care and capitalism.

Besides freelancing in the editorial field for a diverse range of national and international clients, in her long-term projects she uses photography as a reference point to explore social, cultural and political relationships. Having almost studied medicine, she has a knack for science and healthcare topics. She is interested in how visuals shape our perception of the world and how stereotypes can be challenged.

She holds a BA in photojournalism from HS Hannover, Germany, and spent an exchange year studying photojournalism at dmjx Aarhus, Denmark.

Reflecting her current shift towards a more artistic practice, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands with an MA in Photography & Society in July 2022.

Patricia Kühfuss speaks German, English and Norwegian fluently and is currently based between The Hague, NL and Cologne, GER.

She is a member of Female Photoclub, WorkShowGrow, Women Photograph, the Fotobus Society, ver.di. In 2023, she became an appointed member of the DGPH. Her archive is represented by laif.
