About
Patricia Kühfuss is a German documentary photographer currently based in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Besides working freelance in the editorial field for a diverse range of national and international clients, her long-term projects are characterized by a creative take on the everyday. As the daughter of a geography and biology teacher, she has a knack for science and healthcare topics. She is interested in how visuals shape our perception of the world and how stereotypes can be challenged. She considers the grey zone a great place to be in.
Her central concern is to foster a constructive dialogue to deal with conflict in a satisfying way.
She holds a BA in photojournalism from HS Hannover, Germany, and spent an exchange year studying photojournalism at dmjx Aarhus, Denmark.
Reflecting her current shift towards a more artistic practice, she has been admitted to the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands to study for her MA in Photography & Society from Sept 2020 on.
Patricia Kühfuss speaks German, English and Norwegian fluently.
Her archive is represented by laif.
